Arcade Fire’s The Suburbs leaked about a week ago but I haven’t listened to it up until now. Most albums require a few listens for me to “get it” or really get a feel for it. But this album was immediately wonderful and I don’t want to stop listening to it.

Their sophomore album, Neon Bible, didn’t really floor me. It was no Funeral. This album…this one is wonderful. The tracks “Month of May” and “The Suburbs” were available earlier so I’m not adding that for the audio.

Instead, I’m adding “Sprawl II (Mountain Beyond Mountains).” As much as I love Win, I love it when Regine gets a chance to shine. I love this track because it’s so…not Arcade Fire. At least not what one might immediately predict from them. So now that I’ve gone on a rave about how great they are, listen to the track and then acquire The Suburbs. Pronto.
